The year that was.........

The academic year 2009-10, of course my maiden year as college lecturer was full of miraculous events and achievements for me. It will be an extreme crime to forget those who made my each and every day wonderful. I started my career as Guest lecturer in Govt College Malappuram on 24th July 2009. What after graduation?

What after graduation..... yes it is a crucial question before every graduates. to be frank there are no readymade answers, plenty of courses as well job opportunities are available for fresh graduates. the suitability of a course depends mainly on three factors such as intelligence level of the student, financial backing, employment propects of the course. so before making any decision of your future plan it is inevitable to conduct a SWOT analysis of your own. by cross matching your internal strengths and weaknessed with the external threats and opportunities you may be able to decide upon your career. CA is best choice for high intelligent and hard working students. M.com could a choice for all others as a mid way between CA and MBA. for those aspiring teaching career, M.com would be the first priority.

Though India is well known for its people talent, most of our intellectuals migrating to other countris and non teaching job in search of higher reward. i view the new pay scale revision implimented for college lectures is good beginning in the area of quality improvement in country's higher education. Obeviously this salary hike will act as an incentive for the young generation to rethink their career choice back to lecturing. It is interesting to hear that promotion of lecturers are mostly depends on their performace. so it imapa
