I did my orientation in Feb-Mar 2013 at Himachal Predesh University, Shimla. My OP friends wanted me to do refresher in either in NEHU, Shillong or University of Kashmir, or Kumaun University, Nainital. I used to search Nehu website frequently for commerce refresher updates but i could'nt found such an announcements from them. So I started following Kashmir university. I had applied there for a refresher in commerce in Jan 2015 but they used to postpone the programme every time for two years. So i moved to my third choice ie. Nanital. I applied for commerce refresher in early 2016 but they too postponed it and finally cancelled. later I tried to attend their Inter Desciplinary course in environment studies in Nov 2016 but i was not included in the selection list. Finally they agreed to include me and my friend Mhd. Nisar TV from EMEA College Kondotty in their Refresher Course in Disaster Management Dec 2 -23, 2016 list. On April 19, 2013 at 11.34 AM. me and my wife Najeeda.P were blessed with a baby girl at CWC Malappuram. It was the end of 9 months anxiety and the beginning of life long happiness. We named her Swahba Mumtaz meaning 'the company of excellent' on her 21st day of life. She was actually lucky to take birth in April as it was a summer vacation time, it was after her mother's final year degree examination and of course the cool monsoon followed it. Even though Me and Shanavas sir had applied six months in advance for our Orientation Programme in 2013 Feb 25 th to March 23rd at Himachal Pradesh University Shimla,   our selection was not confirmed till 20 th Feb 2013. Actually on 20 th February we were in sports meet of our college at PeeVees Ground. Immediately after getting confirmation of our selection over phone we have cleared all formalities from college office on same day.   We started journey at 2.00 am from Calicut on 22 nd feb in Rajadhani express. We reached Delhi around 5 pm on 23 rd and that day we stayed with our old students in their room near Noida. The next day we visited Lotus temple, India gate, Mughal garden and by night we started to Shimla in bus. On 25 th very morning at 5 am we reached at shimla bus stand and in a taxi car we went to our hotel City Inn. We were allotted room no 14.
