Study Tour to Hyderbad: a mixed experience

I just reached back home after 6 day tour to hyderbad with our final B.com students. The trip in general was good. We have visited all the sites as planned except Salar Jung Museum due to time constraints. As a staff co-ordinator i found no difficulty in guiding my team leaving the burdern to adhere punctuality. The food provided to us was really delicious and rich. The accomodation too was not bad in Sri Durga Hotel. All of us enjoyed the train journey by different group games and songs. According to the majority, Laser Show, Golconda Fort, Snow World and Film City were really wondeful and beyond their expectations. NTR Garden, Lumbini Park, Birla Mandir and Charminar were more or less an average site. Our Tour operator Mega's Holidays Calicut seem to be inexperienced in the field. Still we remember their sincere effort to make us happy every time.

The complete procedure for availing UGC FDP scheme under XII Plan

The University Grants Commission offers two years deputation with salary and increments to the teachers of colleges and universities under its Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for doing full time PhD/Mphil. Generally this fellowship is awarded to every teacher who applies for the same in the proper format. So it’s all about formalities rather than merit. Here I am explaining the complete process of availing FDP Scheme of UGC. The University/College will make a fresh 44 appointment of a substitute teacher in accordance with the prescribed procedure of the UGC, on the minimum Pay Scale prescribed for a Lecturer. If the substitute teacher is appointed on a pay scale higher than the minimum pay scale of a Lecturer, the grant towards reimbursement of the salary of the substitute teacher will be restricted by the UGC to the minimum scale and the balance amount will be met by the respective versity/Institute/College or by the respective State Government.
